BeautyBorn was founded by Tedi Atanassov, a world-renowned trainer, speaker and esthetician with over 25 years of experience in the skincare and beauty industry. Her deep passion for changing people’s lives through improving their beauty and health was the reason BeautyBorn MedSpa was created.

Tedi Atanssov
Founder & CEO
Tedi Atanassov is a leading, highly skilled, and one of the most sought-after certified professionals in the beauty industry. Originally from Eastern Europe, her wide range of talents within the cosmetic industry enabled her to travel, train, and learn from the top industry masters all over the world. She is an internationally licensed esthetician, master trainer in PMU and a certified laser tech. She specializes in anti-aging skin rejuvintation, eyelash extensions, permanent makeup, and other aesthetic services. For nearly 25 years, Tedi has been transforming lives with her unparalleled attention to detail, specialized services, and cosmetic techniques to her steadfast clientele.
Tedi also prides herself to those she is able to train and mentor, having influenced many students to date. Her wide experience and passion enables her to help every student to learn and improve based on individual needs and comprehension to succeed. Tedi’s vision is not only to teach a professional skill, but also to help every person find their own individuality and passion in the art of beauty services.
Melissa Lawrence, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, BSN, RNC-NIC
Medical Director, Injector, Laser Tech
Melissa has spent 25 years in the healthcare industry. Many of those years were spent as an RN in a hospital setting, with 8 of those years simultaneously being in aesthetics. During those 8 years, and prior to becoming a certified injector, Melissa completed a 2-year mentorship, and has studied and trained under many prestigious injectors and trainers. She continues her training in many different areas for injecting to provide the best services possible to her clients. She also has 8 years of experience as a laser technician and is the current Laser Safety Officer at BeautyBorn.
Melissa has spent the last 1.5 years as a Family Nurse Practitioner treating patients from ages 0-99. She provides concierge medical care at BeautyBorn for patients with specialties in hormone therapy, medically managed weight loss, and hair growth and restoration treatments.
Emily Clark, CLT, LE
Laser Tech, Esthetician
Emily is an Arizona native who has been an esthetician for 4 years and a laser technician for 2 years. Prior to joining the BeautyBorn Team, Emily treated clients privately as an esthetician. She became an esthetician because her passion is making her clients feel great in their own skin. She felt she could better serve her clients and treat their needs more thoroughly by additionally becoming a laser technician.
After getting her laser certification, she quickly realized that she has a true love for the industry because of the wide variety of lasers and treatments available. Schedule with Emily today!
Jasmine Quiroz, CLT LE
Laser Tech, Esthetician
Jasmine is born and raised in Arizona and has been in the industry for almost 10 years. Throughout her career, she has worked in various plastic surgeons offices and day spas. She is also an effective mentor and trainer for newly graduated estheticians. Prior to becoming an esthetician, Jasmine completed her Bachelor’s Degree at GCU in Biology. Her background in skincare gives her an advantage when it comes to treating your skin. She is passionate about creating an individualized “game plan” for each client that comes in for all skin types, and seeing the final results of all the work put into getting there.
