Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy
Mesotherapy is a non-surgical cosmetic procedure involving injecting a fine needle with a mixture of vitamins, minerals, amino acids, and other active ingredients into the middle layer of the skin (the mesoderm). The active ingredients used during mesotherapy can vary depending on the individual’s skin concerns. Still, they target specific issues such as fine lines and wrinkles, acne, hyperpigmentation, and stretch marks. The ingredients can stimulate collagen production, improve circulation, and enhance the overall health and appearance of the skin.
Before the procedure, a numbing cream is applied to reduce any discomfort during the injection. Then, using a fine needle, the mixture of active ingredients is injected into the middle layer of the skin (the mesoderm) in small doses. The number and the depth of injections vary depending on the individual and the specific skin concern. After the procedure, the practitioner will clean the skin and apply a moisturizer or a soothing cream. The patient should avoid strenuous exercise, sun exposure, and alcohol for the rest of the day.
The goal of the treatment is to revitalize and rejuvenate the skin.
