Eyelash extensions are a cosmetic treatment in which artificial lashes are glued onto a person’s natural lashes to enhance the length, fullness, and thickness of the lashes. The extensions can be made from a variety of materials, including synthetic fibers, silk, or mink. At BeautyBorn MedSpa, we use a synthetic fiber for our eyelash extensions.

The process of getting eyelash extensions involves lying down with your eyes closed while a trained professional applies the extensions using a special adhesive. The extensions are carefully placed on the natural lashes, one by one, to create a natural-looking effect. The process can take a few hours, and the extensions can last for several weeks with proper care.

It’s important to note that while eyelash extensions can be a great way to enhance your natural lashes, they do require some maintenance to keep them looking their best. You’ll need to avoid rubbing your eyes, using oil-based products, and getting your lashes wet for the first 24 to 48 hours after getting the extensions. You’ll also need to brush your lashes regularly to prevent tangling, and avoid using mascara or other products that could damage the extensions.
